Getting your business hooked into the Second Life Grid couldn’t be easier. Just follow these four simple steps:

  • 1. Open a Second Life Account
  • 2. Partner with a Solution Provider
    • Connect with a Solution Provider to help you get the most out of your Second Life Grid experience. You'll find them listed in the Directory of Solution Providers.
  • 3. Create a location
    • At some point, you’ll want to lease land from us, to establish your presence on the Second Life Grid. You have several options for leasing regions. Businesses can establish their own secure, private spaces known as Private Islands on the Second Life Grid.
    • Businesses use these spaces in many ways including:
      • Conducting meetings
      • Testing prototypes
      • Training staff
      • As a Private Island owner, you control who can see, enter and interact with your space on the Second Life Grid. Limit access to members of your team or enable public browsing for recruiting, informational or marketing purposes.
