Community Gateway Program

The Community Gateway Program connects communities with like-minded individuals, allowing people to join a community of their choice during the Second Life registration process. If your community would like to bring new users directly into your unique Second Life experience, please review the submission requirements below.

Requirements:
  1. Ownership of at least one region.
  2. All or a portion of that region dedicated to welcoming new Residents.
  3. A website that hosts a unique registration gateway and is within our branding guidelines.

Once you have met these requirements you will need to send

  1. A 512X512 image that best represents your community.
  2. A logo that will be used to represent your community and is within our branding guidelines.
  3. A short paragraph describing what your community has to offer. You should highlight how it is unique from others. Please remember that this will represent your company in our public directory.
  4. The name of the SL account that has been given registration capabilities.
  5. The name of the SL account(s) which will be used to purchase land for your community gateway.
  6. The url to your gateway page.
  7. The SLurl for your gateway orientation area.
